Some Simple Steps
Step 1
Arrange a tour of The Portland Hospital's Maternity Unit with our Maternity Services Advisor on 020 7390 6068 or book online. Alternatively, take a look at our gallery and frequently asked questions.
Step 2
To discuss your initial thoughts on the Midwifery Led Delivery (MLD) service or book directly with the MLD team please call 020 7390 6333/ 6344 or call the main hospital switchboard on 020 7580 4400 and ask for bleep 60.
Women wishing to access a midwife for a pre-booking consultation and antenatal advice can do so at a charge of £85 through the Midwifery Support Clinic on 020 7390 6318
Step 3
Arrange a booking appointment to meet one of the midwives on 020 7390 6318. In this initial appointment previous medical and obstetric history will be discussed and an individual plan of care for pregnancy developed.
All midwife led care patients are required to pay a non refundable deposit of £2,000 upon booking and the balance of their packaged price will be due eight weeks prior to estimated delivery date.
